A Health and Fitness program can be beneficial to anyone at any age. However, Seniors should look for a program designed for mature adults who are seeking to develop a healthier lifestyle that includes a social environment, and provides a positive rewarding experience for the individual.

Exercises in Mature Adult Fitness Classes can include:
• Weight Training
• Aerobic Exercise
• Stretching
• Water Exercise
• Yoga
• Power Walking

Be sure to look for these things when joining a Mature Adult Fitness Program:
1. Instruction should be given from a professional fitness trainer.

2. Regular Fitness Assessments should be given to monitor current fitness levels and progress. Assessments should include
• Blood Pressure
• Heart Rate (resting & active)
• Weight & Body Composition Analysis
• Fitness Capacity Analysis
